Cost Estimator​/Pricing Analyst

Seaboard Folding Box is seeking an Estimator and Purchasing Agent to support our estimating/purchasing operations. This hands-on role prepares accurate, competitive estimates for existing customers and new opportunities. The successful candidate is organized, detail-oriented, comfortable working independently, and effective in a deadline-driven, team environment.

• Prepare timely, accurate estimates and quotation letters for repeat business and new sales opportunities, using optimized layouts.
• Maintain current raw material, machine capability, and estimating information in the ERP system; stay informed about folding carton manufacturing processes and available outside services.
• Work with Sales, customer service, production, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and support responsive proposals.
• Monitor demand, delivery timing, supplier capacity, pricing, and market trends; perform cost comparisons and scenario analysis to support purchasing decisions.
• Follow company quality, food safety, good manufacturing practice, conduct, and safety requirements, including applicable ISO, SQF, and HACCP procedures.

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, accounting or a related field; equivalent relevant education and experience will be considered.
• Three to five years of estimating experience in the folding carton industry preferred.
• Experience with estimating software and ERP systems; strong computer skills and cost-analysis ability.
• Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities.
• Clear written, verbal, and electronic communication skills when working with customers, sales, production, vendors, and other colleagues.

Work is primarily performed in an office, with occasional work in the field. The role requires extended periods of seated computer work. Evening, weekends, or overtime work may occasionally be needed to meet business and project deadlines.
