Security Analyst

Alexander Technology Group is looking for a Cyber Security Analyst with 1-5 years of experience for a client of ours in Rowley, MA. This person will focus on monitoring, triaging, and responding to security events and incidents and will analyze alerts and security logs, diagnose potential threats, and help drive incidents through investigation and resolution.

This is a remote/hybrid position and candidates should be local to NH, MA, or RI for occasional on-site meetings.

No 3rd party c2c applicants will be considered. Pay range for the role is $40-55/hr and this is a contract to permanent position.

• Monitor and triage security alerts and potential incidents.
• Analyze security logs and event data to identify threats, determine root cause, and assess impact.
• Investigate and respond to security incidents, escalating when appropriate.
• Support ongoing security monitoring and threat detection efforts.
• Work with security tools and platforms including Zscaler, Crowd Strike, Relia Quest, and Check Point.
• Assist with email security, phishing detection, and security investigations.
• Support DLP initiatives and data protection efforts as needed.

• Experience with EDR/MDR and security monitoring.
• Hands-on experience with Crowd Strike.
• Experience with Relia Quest or another MSSP/SOC platform.
• Experience with Zscaler, particularly Zero Trust/security controls.
• Experience with Check Point, particularly email security/phishing protection.
• Strong ability to analyze logs and troubleshoot security events.
• Experience with DLP, particularly Microsoft Purview, is a plus.
• Strong analytical, investigative, and incident-response skills.
