Elabram Systems is hiring a Radio Network Design Engineer to support advanced RF planning and optimization projects across GSM, WCDMA, LTE, and 5G technologies. This role is critical in delivering high-performance wireless networks and guiding junior engineers in best practices.

As a Radio Network Design Engineer, you will be responsible for RF planning, link budgeting, and network design for multi-technology deployments including IoT, VoLTE, and 5G. You’ll work independently on optimization tasks, support customer engagements, and utilize industry-standard tools for coverage analysis and performance monitoring. The role also involves mentoring junior engineers and contributing to proposal development when required. Familiarity with Ericsson products and site configurations is highly preferred.

• Perform RF planning and high-level/low-level design for GSM, WCDMA, LTE, and 5G networks
• Conduct link budget analysis and coverage planning for indoor/outdoor deployments
• Utilize tools like Map Info, Mentum Planet, drive test tools, and performance monitoring platforms
• Provide technical support and training to less experienced team members
• Review and improve network design documents and support customer discussions
• Analyze field survey reports and external interference data for site selection
• Support implementation and provide technical guidance on radio network planning issues

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Telecommunications Engineering
• Minimum 4 years of experience in radio planning and design for GSM, LTE, UMTS, and 5G
• Strong understanding of RF parameters, timers, and network topology design
• Proficiency in Ericsson hardware/software and site configuration
• Skilled in using planning and post-processing tools (e.g., TEMS, ACTIX, Map Info, EDOS)
• Good command of English and working knowledge of MS Excel and Access
• Knowledge of local OHS regulations and compliance standards

• Experience with IoT and VoLTE network design
• Familiarity with competitive vendor offerings
• Exposure to proposal preparation and customer-facing technical support
• Ability to define BOQ requirements based on site configurations
• Knowledge of neighbor relations and optimization strategies
