Caterlink - Chef

We are looking for a Chef to join our team at Melksham Oak Academy in Melksham. This role is term‑time only, with no weekends, making it ideal for those seeking flexibility.

For over 20 years we have delivered fresh food solutions to pupils and staff at Primary Schools, Secondary Schools and Colleges across the UK, catering to more than 1,000,000 meals a week.   • Salary: £14.00 per hour
  • Hours:

    30 hours per week, Monday – Friday
  • Period:
    Term‑time only (42.6 weeks per year)
Your

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, cook and present food to the standards required by Caterlink and the client.
  • Ensure food safety and health and safety procedures are followed and all mandatory paperwork is completed accurately and with integrity.
  • Enhance the company’s reputation for excellent food and service, consistently exceeding client and customer expectations.
  • Support your line manager with day‑to‑day operations, including inventory management, budget monitoring and action plan implementation.
