Community Mental Health Nurse – NHS Borders

Responsibilities- Work with multidisciplinary team members to ensure effective services for children and young people.
- Participate in continued professional and practice development, including in-house training.
- Lead by example to maintain high standards of person‑centred care and improve client outcomes.
- Collaborate with the Young People’s Units for intensive community treatment and when hospital admissions are necessary.
- Support CAMHS multi‑disciplinary working and build strong relationships with multi‑agency partners.
- Registered Nurse with relevant experience in community mental health or related field.
- Strong leadership and clinical skills.
- Knowledge of current clinical practice and child & adolescent mental health.
- Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom or the ability to be sponsored under the UK Skilled Worker/Health & Care Worker Visa scheme.
- Willingness to undergo the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme criminal records check if required.
