Role Overview
Full-time (37 hours) Project Worker role in an accommodation-based support service in Tredegar, Blaenau Gwent, providing housing‑related support to individuals and families experiencing homelessness. You will work within a team of Scheme Support officers, Lead Project Workers, Project Workers and an Accommodation Coordinator, delivering 24/7 support to our diverse group of customers. Working in a team, you will provide support to vulnerable individuals and help them develop the key skills needed to prevent homelessness, improve financial capability, promote resettlement into the community and achieve positive progression.
You will equip our customers with the knowledge, skills and tools to live independent lives.
- Engage and interact with the people we support.
- Write and follow a support plan with the individuals you are supporting.
- Deliver workshops relating to tenancy management and health and wellbeing.
- Liaise with external agencies.
- Support with external appointments to GPs and job centres.
- Organise and participate in activities and day trips.
- Relevant work experience and knowledge of issues relating to vulnerable people.
- A passion to work with and enable people to live as independently as possible.
- An enthusiasm and passion for making a difference to people's lives.
- A strong initiative and ability to work alone as well as being a great team player.
- Ability to deal with conflicting and difficult situations.

£26,072.00 per annum.
Work pattern: 4‑week rolling rota – Monday to Sunday 08:00‑22:00, minimum of every other weekend.
