Accounting Assistant

Responsibilities

• Perform daily accounting tasks, including but not limited to:
  • Processing and recording journal entries.
  • Generate refunds.
  • Charge Vendors generate invoices.
  • Registration and reconciliation of credit cards.
  • Reconciling accounts and preparing financial statements.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Assisting with month-end close.
• Create customer accounts in SAP.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Support the preparation of financial reports and statements.
• Maintain compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Preparation of checks for suppliers.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve financial issues and improve financial processes.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field (must be within 1 year of graduation).
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Entry-level SAP Business ONE experience (Module Purchasing
  -A/P).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy.

• 2 years of entry-level accounting experience.
• Experience with SAP Business One module Purchasing
  -A/P.
• Familiarity with financial reporting softwares.
