Employing over 150 staff directly, the company has developed long-term relationships with national house builders, local authorities, and blue-chip organisations.

Specialising in residential groundworks and civil engineering, they operate as a preferred supplier for many leading house builders, managing multi-phased developments ranging from 40–350+ plots. Their projects consistently achieve industry recognition, including NHBC “Pride in the Job” awards, thanks to their commitment to quality, safety, and productivity.

As part of their continued growth, they are now seeking a Site Manager to join the Groundworks Division.

The Role

As Site Manager, you will play a key role in leading the day-to-day operations on residential groundworks projects. You will be responsible for delivering projects safely, on time, and to the highest standards of quality.

Responsibilities include:

* Overseeing Health & Safety, quality, and compliance across site operations

* Supervising direct labour and subcontractors

* Managing day-to-day site activities in line with programme requirements

* Liaising with Contracts Managers and Quantity Surveyors to ensure smooth delivery

* Carrying out toolbox talks, H&S inspections, and maintaining site records

* Attending and contributing to progress meetings

* Identifying potential changes and keeping PM/QS updated

* Managing permits, RAMS, and ensuring documentation is up to date

About You

We are looking for an experienced Site Manager with a experience in residential groundworks and or civil engineering.

Requirements:

* SMSTS (or SSSTS minimum)

* CSCS (Gold or Black card preferred)

* Experience delivering residential groundworks projects for house builders

* Strong knowledge of H&S regulations and site compliance

* Excellent communication and leadership skills

* Full UK driving licence preferred
