Radiographer PCN Level 2

Role Overview

Paralloy is seeking a skilled Radiography Technician to support quality and inspection operations within a high-integrity manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out radiographic inspection of welds, interpreting results, and ensuring all work meets customer and internal quality standards while maintaining the highest levels of safety.

Key Responsibilities

* Perform radiographic inspection of welds in accordance with approved procedures

* Develop and process radiographic films

* Interpret and sentence radiographs in line with relevant codes and standards

* Complete accurate radiographic inspection reports

* Work to customer quality specifications and internal procedures

* Follow all controlled documentation to ensure consistent, quality operations

* Maintain safe working practices in line with Paralloy’s health & safety policies and procedures

* Adhere to 5S and general housekeeping standards

* Support continuous improvement within the inspection function

Skills & Experience Required

* PCN Level II certified in Radiography

* PCN Level II certified in Radiographic Interpretation

* Candidates with PCN Level I may be considered, with training provided

* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

* Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental requirements

* Experience with lifting, slinging, and pendant crane operations

* Manual handling experience

* Good communication skills, both written and verbal

Shift Pattern

* Week 1:
Wednesday, Thursday, Friday – Days (07:00–19:00)

* Week 2:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday – Nights (19:00–07:00)

* Week 3:
Monday & Tuesday – Days (07:00–19:00)
   Thursday & Friday – Nights (19:00–07:00)

Package

* Salary: £54,500 per annum
