Your new company
Your new company are a highly acquisitive supply chain and logistics business based in North Manchester. After yet another successful period of growth they're looking to recruit a Practice trained Finance Manager.

Your new role
In this newly created role you'll play a pivotal role in maintaining financial integrity, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving efficient financial operations. In terms of audit and financial reporting, you will lead the internal and external audit processes, including preparation of audit schedules and liaison with auditors. You will prepare and submit accurate VAT returns and ensure compliance with Excise Duty regulations.

You will monitor and report on foreign exchange exposures and execute hedging strategies where appropriate. Assist with the management of cash positions across currencies to optimise working capital.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified accountant ACA/ACCA/CIMA with a minimum of two years' post-qualification experience in a financial accounting role. You must have strong knowledge of UK tax rules, including VAT and Excise Duties, experience dealing with HMRC and audit processes, proficiency in financial systems, advanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilities, as well as the ability to lead and manage a team.

You will receive a salary of £65,000 plus bonus.
