HGV Class 1 Drivers – Middleton

People Solutions are currently recruiting for HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our well-established client based in Middleton, Manchester . This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay and genuine opportunities for progression.

• Monday to Friday
• Day shift start times from 06 : 00
• Night shift start times from 18 : 00

• £17.00 per hour – Monday to Friday (Days)
• £18.00 per hour – Monday to Friday (Nights)

• Driving Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently
• Completing 2–4 store deliveries per shift
• Ensuring all loads are safe, compliant and secure
• Carrying out vehicle checks and reporting faults to management
• Ensuring deliveries are completed in a timely manner
• Communicating effectively regarding any issues or delays
• Complying with all working time rules and regulations
• Completing relevant paperwork accurately

• Valid UK Category CE Driving Licence
• Minimum 12 months’ experience driving CE vehicles
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than 6 penalty points for minor offences (no IN10, DR10, DD10)
• Good customer service and communication skills

• Previous experience completing store deliveries

• Industry-related training and ongoing support
• Paid site induction
