Software Test Automation Specialist

TXT Quence, part of the TXT Group, is looking for a Software Test Automation Specialist to join its expanding team, with at least 2-3 years of experience in the role.

We are looking for candidates with experience and know-how in Software Testing and Software Test Automation to work on important projects.

Main responsibilities

Coordinate and plan the software functionality analysis process, designing and implementing functional and performance tests.

Implement test automation.

Create and run both manual and automated regression tests.

Track software anomalies found and verify their resolution.

Technical skills required

Knowledge of functional testing methodology principles and best practices: requirements/specifications analysis, test writing (nice to have: knowledge of BDD/Cucumber), manual functional testing, bug tracking (opening, cycle management, retesting, and closing).

Knowledge of methodological principles and best practices in test automation: definition of automated scenarios; development with application of relevant models: page object model, screenplay pattern; execution via CI/CD platforms and IDE/tools, results analysis. Excellent knowledge of Selenium, Appium, Playwright, Cypress (one or more).

Good knowledge of object-oriented programming principles and Python (nice to have: other programming languages in addition to Python).

Good knowledge of the Linux operating system.

Mandatory spoken and written English at C level.

Nice to have

Dev Ops skills (Jenkins, Circle

CI, Azure Dev Ops).

Knowledge of the Atlassian suite, Jira, and Confluence.

Skills in web/mobile application software development.

The profile is completed by a good aptitude for teamwork, an aptitude for learning software methodologies and technologies, a results-oriented approach, analytical skills, and flexibility.

Education
Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or equivalent subjects.
