Product Manager – Paint & Refinishing at FPS Distribution Ltd

We’re looking for an experienced Product Manager to drive the strategy, pricing, and supplier relationships for our Paint & Refinishing product portfolio. This role will directly impact the growth and profitability of our products in the automotive aftermarket.

Due to our growth and expansion, we are looking for a Product Manager – Paint & Refinishing to join our team and help establish and expand our brand in Ireland, Europe and worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Launch and maintain product ranges.
  • Manage inventory and ensure product availability.
  • Keep business systems functional and maintained.
  • Plan marketing and campaign strategies to support sales of the product portfolio.
  • Execute the company’s business strategy and achieve sales and profit budgets.
  • Regularly review products and suppliers, present management proposals to maximise performance.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional internal teams.
  • Develop and strengthen supplier relationships and ensure they meet our requirements.
  • Benchmark prices against the market to maintain competitiveness.
  • Maintain product part number cross‑reference and alternate database for maximum category coverage.
  • Identify growth opportunities, including new ranges and product group extensions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in new product introduction.
  • Strong data processing and analysis skills.
  • Proven supplier relationship management experience.
  • Effective project planning and execution capability.
  • Ability to deliver results in a timely manner.
  • Excellent planning, organising and communication skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
