A dynamic, forward-thinking and growing main contractor with a turnover of circa £100m have an excellent opportunity for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join them on a permanent basis, working on a project in Milton Keynes.

The company have been around for approximately 10 years and have continuously grown from strength to strength. They are privately owned and managed by a dynamic team with extensive experience in all aspects of the construction industry.

They specialise in the delivery of new build, refurbishment and fit-out projects across a range of sectors including industrial, retail, commercial and infrastructure, between £5m to £30m in value. They offer their key clients services nationwide; they have some excellent lasting relationships and win a lot of repeat business as a result.

They are looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to work on a £25m project in Milton Keynes that comprises a 500,000 sq. ft. new build industrial warehouse and offices. The project will last for approximately 10 months and the Assistant Quantity Surveyor will be reporting to a Senior Quantity Surveyor. The successful candidate will:

• Ideally be Degree qualified or have other relative construction qualification
• Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience working for a reputable main contractor
• Be career focused and driven to succeed
• Have good commercial awareness
• Hold a full UK driver’s license
