Full‑time | 9am–5pm (1‑hour lunch)
£60-70,000 + Car or Allowance

This close‑knit construction interiors business in Milton Keynes is looking for an Estimator / Quantity Surveyor who enjoys variety, autonomy and taking ownership of projects from start to finish.
You’ll be involved from initial enquiry and scoping, right through to final account, working on healthcare, education and commercial schemes typically ranging from £50k to £2.5m. The team pride themselves on long‑standing client relationships, repeat business and delivering high‑quality refurbishment and fit‑out projects.

The Role
A blended Estimator / QS position where you’ll take ownership of projects from inception to completion, including:
* Managing projects from initial enquiry through to final account
* Attending scoping meetings and client briefings
* Completing detailed quantity take‑offs and measurements
* Preparing and pricing tenders independently
* Supporting material and subcontract procurement, including raising POs
* Working closely with the delivery team throughout the project lifecycle
* Attending site to carry out valuations of completed works
* Pricing variations and updating cost plans
* Maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring smooth project delivery
About You
* Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
* Able to work confidently with clients, subcontractors and internal teams
* Comfortable working to deadlines and managing multiple tenders/projects
* 5+ years’ experience in construction, with exposure to both estimating and quantity surveying
* Experience working on refurbishment or interiors projects is beneficial
* Keen to take on responsibility across both estimating and commercial functions
