Commercial Manager – Milton Keynes, UK

Company: EKFB (Eiffage, Kier, Ferrovial & BAM) – a joint‑venture bringing world‑leading expertise in railway network design, construction, operation, financing and maintenance.

We are recruiting a Commercial Manager to join our Commercial team based in Milton Keynes.

• Cost, value, productivity and cashflow reporting.
• Collaborative approach.
• Cost optimisation and best value.
• Change management, including assessment and negotiation of change.
• Risk/opportunity identification and management.
• Strategy development and delivery.
• Commercial advice, support and input for procurement.
• Commercial management of subcontract/Professional Services/Supplier subcontracts and accounts (including dispute identification/management).
• Contract advice and management of contractual notices.
• Compliance with business processes and procedures.
• Development of innovations, processes and procedures.
• Supply‑chain and client management/care.

• Qualified with a Quantity Surveying degree or similar.
• Member of a relevant professional institution (CICES, RICS etc.).
• Experience as a Commercial Manager or Senior Quantity Surveyor.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver positive commercial outcomes on projects.
• Proactive collaborator with other departments to achieve common project goals.
• Ability to work closely with the operational team, listen, learn and take on board new concepts; commitment to mentoring and developing team members.
• Experience with NEC and major projects.
• Valid driver’s licence and access to own vehicle.
• Valid CSCS card (White or White/Yellow).

EKFB is a joint venture of Eiffage, Kier, Ferrovial Construction and BAM Nuttall, delivering civil engineering works across an 80‑km section of HS2 between Chiltern Tunnel and Long Itchington Wood. Scope includes 15 viaducts, 5 km of green tunnels, 22 km of road diversions, 67 over bridges and ~30 m³ of excavation.
