Senior Sustainability Advisor (Eiffage Kier Ferrovial BAM (EKFB))

EKFB is a joint venture between Eiffage, Kier, Ferrovial Construction and BAM Nuttall, bringing together international, market‑leading expertise in civil engineering and construction. We are looking for a Senior Sustainability Advisor to join our Route Wide Environment Team. The role involves managing and overseeing sustainability advisor functions related to carbon and BREEAM. You will be responsible for meeting client contract requirements for sustainability and reporting, including timely submission of PMU5, responsible sourcing, waste management performance, ongoing performance reviews, data reconciliation, and interfacing with supply chain and internal EKFB project delivery teams to ensure accurate and timely data capture.

You will also be responsible for sustainability tool training and onboarding, supporting BREEAM‑ and carbon advisor functions during internal and external reviews, audits, and verifications. Additionally, it includes managing key client stakeholder relationships, overseeing implementation of the EKFB EMS, reviewing and updating route‑wide standards, supporting ISO
14001 internal and external audits, and reviewing sustainability data such as waste, water, and energy consumption.

• Lead and manage carbon and BREEAM advisory functions.
• Ensure compliance with client sustainability contract requirements and deliver timely reporting.
• Conduct performance reviews, data reconciliation, and interface with supply chain and internal teams.
• Provide sustainability tool training and ongoing user support.
• Support BREEAM and carbon advisor functions during reviews, audits, and verifications.
• Manage client and internal stakeholder relationships and implement EKFB EMS.
• Update route‑wide standards and plans, support ISO
  14001 audits.
• Analyse sustainability data to identify trends and risks.

• Relevant degree in environmental sciences or a complementary discipline.
• Minimum of three years’ experience delivering a sustainability role in the construction industry.
• Experience managing and implementing Environmental Management Systems, including ISO
  14001.
• Experience with BREEAM Infrastructure assessments (desirable).
• Knowledge of carbon management practices, including PAS
  2080 and Life‑Cycle Assessment (desirable).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Driving licence and access to a vehicle (required).
