  • Achieve Production Targets:
    Ensure production targets are consistently met every shift.
  • Manage Procedures and Prioritise Safety:
    Oversee operating procedures, always prioritising safety.
  • Perform Routine Maintenance:
    Conduct regular PPM maintenance to keep equipment in optimal condition.
  • Troubleshoot Issues:
    Identify and resolve technical problems efficiently.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement:
    Implement strategies for ongoing process and performance enhancement.
  • Repair Equipment and Automated Machinery:
    Maintain and repair equipment and automated systems to ensure smooth operations.
  • Document and Report Issues:
    Accurately document and report any issues encountered during shifts.
  • Collaborate Effectively:
    Work closely with other teams and departments to achieve production goals through effective communication and problem-solving.
Relevant Engineering Experience

Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Engineering or related field. Equivalent or transferable skills.
Previous experience as Multi Skilled Electrical / Mechanical Engineer with a strong technical knowledge in relevant fields.

Essential Qualifications
  • Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Engineering or related field.
  • Previous experience as Multi Skilled Electrical / Mechanical Engineer with strong technical knowledge.
  • Familiarity with relevant safety procedures and regulations.
  • Able to understand the importance and principles of an advanced Quality Management System.
  • Experience in maintaining and repairing Automated Machinery and Production equipment.
  • Experience with industrial networks and control systems.
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Experience of safely carrying out planned maintenance across a site ensuring maintenance procedures are followed.
  • Be an integral part of the engineering team, responding to breakdowns establishing root cause analysis to limit breakdown reoccurring, improving machine reliability and performance.
  • Willing to learn and adapt to role requirements.
  • Hands on ownership of issues.
  • Experience of working well in a team within a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability and willingness to work at height.
Desirable
  • Preferably Multi Skilled Electrical / Mechanical Engineer with a strong technical knowledge in relevant fields such as Mechanical, Electrical, Automation Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Ex forces Electrical / Engineer with.
  • BTEC/HNC/HND/C&G or Degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Previous knowledge and understanding of the importance and relevance of a Quality Management System.
  • Experience of updating records of tasks/spare parts used from store and work completed, using the CMMS system.
