Our client is a leading food manufacturing company, part of a larger national organisation. Due to growth and further expansion they are looking for an experienced Engineering Stores Manager.

• Be responsible for ensuring spare parts for maintenance and servicing are in stock and payments made
• Manage an Engineering Purchaser, assist with sourcing suppliers and negotiate costs
• Inventory management: lead cycle counts, stock takes, manage the location of all engineering stock
• Make sure the stores area is organised, tidy and with clear instructions for engineers
• All PPMs, parts and engineering spares are accounted for and controlled through CMMS
• Suggest improvements, report any issues of delay of stock
• Use CMMS to track KPIs, raise POs, manage stock levels of slow moving items

• At least 3 years experience in a similar stores management / senior inventory role
• Must have technical knowledge of engineering stores and parts management
• Ideally have worked in food manufacturing
• Strong IT skills: used CMMS systems and Excel (Expert)
• Effective communicator: working with various teams and departments
• Analytical individual: excellent attention to detail
• Process driven person
