Collections & Recoveries Advisor

We start this role on 16th February 2026 with up to 8 weeks of office‑based training (Monday‑Friday, 9‑5pm).

• Work to agreed service levels, quality targets and operational metrics.
• Use initiative to resolve customer issues, ideally within the first contact.
• Operate in accordance with Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) guidelines at all times.
• Negotiate with third parties, including debt management and recoveries firms, using personal judgement.
• Update multiple systems and programmes.
• Assess each customer’s needs individually, ensuring positive outcomes for every interaction.

• Experience in complex customer service, ideally within collections or complaints teams.
• Proven ability to meet service levels and quality measures.
• Strong teamwork skills while maintaining individual ownership.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with multiple systems, including MS Office, CRM and telephony systems.
• A genuine desire to help and support people.
• Ability to manage, influence and adapt during complex conversations.

• Bonus: Discretionary 10% on‑target bonus (based on personal and group performance).
• Pension: Employer contribution of 9% (based on employee contribution of 3%). VWFS will pay 6% if employee chooses a 2% contribution.
