Data Science Manager
This role plays a critical part in ensuring the integrity of our data ecosystem-supporting accurate reporting, enabling actionable insights, and underpinning strategic decision-making.

As the Data Manager, you will take ownership of data accuracy and workflow alignment across our systems, with a particular focus on the Ostara CMMS platform.
You'll be at the centre of cross-functional collaboration, working with asset, engineering, operational, and reporting teams to ensure our data is complete, consistent, and meaningful.
- Competitive Salary - £46,000 to £50,000 per annum, depending on experience
- 25 days annual leave , plus bank holidays
- Annual bonus (up to 4%) - subject to performance (historically paid out)
- Matched pension contributions (5-6%)
- Ensure consistent and accurate data across all systems, particularly Ostara CMMS, through robust change control and validation processes
- Develop and maintain data governance protocols to support operational workflows and reporting
- Collaborate with the Asset Manager and CAD Planner to build and maintain a comprehensive data taxonomy, including location hierarchies and asset classifications
- Identify key data points within engineering and FM workflows and ensure appropriate data capture and organisation
- Lead the use and optimisation of asset collection tools to ensure ongoing validation and completeness of asset data
- Support field teams and contractors in capturing accurate asset information during mobilisation and lifecycle updates
- Understand and document operational workflows to identify all relevant data collection points
- Work with stakeholders to ensure data is embedded into processes and supports performance management
- Collaborate with the Data and MI Centre of Excellence to ensure that we benefit from support and direction and future developments
- Support the Business Reporting Analyst and wider team in generating reports and dashboards using Power BI
- Provide data-driven insights and problem-solving support to operational teams
- Strong understanding of facilities management and engineering asset data, including familiarity with SFG
20 standards - Experience working with CMMS platforms (preferably Ostara) and asset management systems
- Proven ability to build and manage data taxonomies and hierarchies
- Skilled in data validation, change control, and governance processes
- Ability to interpret operational workflows and translate them into structured data requirements
- Experience supporting reporting and analytics using tools such as Power BI, SQL, DAX, and Power Query
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and querying structured datasets
- Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and operational teams
- Hybrid working - 3 days in the MK office (minimum)
