Part-Time Commercial Property Lawyer – Milton Keynes

Newstaff Employment is hiring an experienced Part-Time Commercial Property Solicitor to join a successful and well-regarded firm of solicitors operating across Milton Keynes, Caddington, and Tring. This part-time position offers flexibility and is well-suited to someone returning to work or seeking to wind down while still contributing at a high professional level.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and support a newly qualified solicitor, including training and development.
  • Handle your own caseload of commercial property work.
  • Advise clients on leases, acquisitions, disposals, auction sales and purchases, bridging loans, and option agreements.
  • Draft, negotiate, and review legal documents to a high standard.
  • Give practical, commercial legal advice based on each client’s needs.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through clear, reliable communication.
Essential Skills & Experience
  • Qualified solicitor with solid experience in commercial property law.
  • Good working knowledge of all main commercial property transactions.
  • Able to manage a mixed caseload confidently and independently.
  • Experience supporting, guiding, or mentoring junior team members.
  • Strong skills in communication, drafting, negotiation, and problem-solving.
  • Well‑organised, flexible, and able to prioritise work when busy.
  • Professional, client‑focused, and confident in making commercial decisions.
