Full time, Monday‑Friday, Permanent

We are seeking a dedicated Cleaning Operative to join the Facilities Maintenance Team at HMP Woodhill, a High Security & Adult/Male prison. You will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and nurturing environment for prisoners, staff, visitors, and the wider community.

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across prison premises in line with health and safety standards.
• Work alongside a diverse team of plumbers, electricians, carpenters, painters, and administrators to support prison operations.
• Adhere to Cleaning Standard Operating Procedures and support the implementation of COSHH requirements.
• Demonstrate excellent organisational, time‑management and interpersonal skills to support a coordinated working environment.

• Experience working within a cleaning environment.
• Knowledge of COSHH and relevant health and safety requirements.
• Strong organisational, time‑management and people skills.
