We are working a with a leading Highways Maintenance contractor that operates across the UK. They are looking to recruit an experienced Supervisor, you will be overseeing various lighting schemes throughout the area.

This role is to deliver works on the Councils Street Lighting Highways maintenance contract, worksto include routine maintenance, investigations, surveys, repairs, and improvements. The purpose of the role is to supervise, plan, programme and organise delivery.

Duties:

• Working within the Highway Street Lighting Team, supervising staff and sub- contractors.
• Ensuring that projects are developed and delivered safely on time and to budget as agreed with the client.
• Ensure that all projects comply with Health and Safety Regulations and CDM requirements.
• Manage and direct a team of Street Lighting Operatives and Supply Chain Partners
• Plan, Programme and Deliver a package of Capital and Revenue Street Lighting schemes and repairs.
• Ensure that all work is carried out safely
• To monitor, manage and report on programme delivery and performance
• Assist with inspection of plant, machinery, and vehicle
• To ensure the risks associated with the Street Lighting Assets are effectively managed
• Ensure Supply Chain Partners deliver to all agreed standards.
• Supervision of out of hours works either night or weekend working as and when required

Requirements/

Qualifications:

• NRSWA Supervisor, SSSTS, SMSTS, HERs Qualified Supervisor, First Aid at Work.
• Experience working in the construction industry, preferably highways and Street Lighting, preferred.
• Experience undertaking Street Lighting work in the vicinity of underground services preferred.
• Experience in the supervision or use of traffic management preferred.
• Current, Full Driving Licence.
