We are looking for a proactive and hands-on Workshop Controller / Assistant Workshop Manager to join a dynamic workshop team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in keeping a busy workshop running smoothly and ensuring customers continue to receive the top-quality service the business is known for.

Over the past few years, the workshop business area of the business has grown significantly, and they have exciting plans to grow further. You will be joining a highly experienced management team that will support you every step of the way.

• Experience in a workshop management, controller, or supervisory role preferably in a dealership environment (passenger car or commercial vehicles or similar).
• Great communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
• Good mechanical / mechanic knowledge and confidence using tools and equipment.
• A problem-solver with a hands-on, practical approach.

• Supporting the workshop management team to keep daily operations efficient and productive.
• Leading and mentoring workshop staff, helping to build a positive, collaborative culture.
• Quoting, scheduling, and invoicing workshop jobs (internal and external).
• Ensuring workshop equipment and tools are well-maintained and in top working condition.
• Overseeing maintenance schedules and addressing repairs as needed.
• Liaising directly with customers to provide exceptional service and resolve queries.
• Managing stock levels of tools and materials.
