Graduate Real Estate Pathway

Our Graduate Real Estate Pathway is the perfect place for aspiring Land Managers, Development Managers & Planning Managers, or anyone with a natural interest in land acquisition, planning policies or project management. This pathway is tailored to expose you to key areas of the business that will develop you into a strong all‑rounder within the Real Estate field.

All rotations (18 months) will include the following areas, designed with specific learning objectives to equip you with the knowledge you need:
Land & Partnerships → Technical → Commercial → Development → Regional Finance → Construction → Development & Land
. Rotations will begin and finish in Land & Partnerships or Development, with the possibility of transition into a permanent role after completion.

What We Expect

You should have a relevant degree (2:2 or above) and a valid driver’s licence, as the role requires some travel. We look for passionate, talented and committed people who demonstrate potential.

Responsibilities
  • Complete all rotations to the best of your ability and meet the targets set by each rotational supervisor.
  • Take all learning opportunities presented by the programme and seek ways to further develop and challenge yourself.
  • Integrate into each team, supporting them to achieve their goals and establishing meaningful, long‑lasting professional relationships.
  • Absorb knowledge, expertise and advice from senior teams, ask questions and probe to develop your understanding.
  • Contribute to continuous development within Vistry Group by proactively involving yourself in key business initiatives, projects and launches.
  • Act as an active member of the Vistry Group Graduate community and support peers in quarterly meetings, masterclasses and professional development opportunities.
  • Advocate for careers in Construction by representing Vistry at career events, fairs and other engagement opportunities.
  • Act as a buddy to future new graduates, ensuring they are positively supported throughout their learning journey.
  • Commit to further study, qualifications and accreditations where appropriate.
  • Engage positively with leaders and support system, meeting regularly to discuss progress and development.
