CNC Turner Programmer / Setter / Operator – Late Shift
To £20 per hour and 25% shift uplift
* Monday–Thursday: 14:00 – 22:00
* Friday: 13:00 – 20:00

Our client, Goodman Precision Engineering Ltd, is offering a fantastic opportunity to join their advanced manufacturing team as a CNC Turner Programmer/Setter/Operator on their late shift.
Based in the Milton Keynes area, our client is a leading manufacturer of high-precision CNC milled and turned components, working with both solid and cast materials across a wide range of metals and plastics.

The Role of the CNC Turner
As a CNC Turner Programmer/Setter/Operator on the late shift, you will play a key role in the daily operation of the manufacturing facility. You’ll be responsible for programming, setting and operating a variety of advanced CNC machining centres, contributing directly to the production of high-precision components that meet the strictest industry standards.
Experience & Competencies Required for the CNC Turner
We’re looking for a candidate with:
* Proven experience as a Programmer/Setter/Operator on Mazak and Doosan CNC machine centres, ideally within a fast-paced precision, prototype or motor sport engineering environment
* Strong working knowledge of Fanuc or Mazatrol controls
* Excellent understanding of engineering drawings, with the ability to perform accurate in-process dimensional and visual checks using appropriate measuring equipment
* Experience machining a wide variety of metals and plastics
* Clear, confident communication skills and the ability to provide concise feedback across teams
* The ability to work efficiently to deadlines, manage priorities and maintain quality under pressure
* Willingness and capability to mind multiple machines when required
* A proactive mindset, able to work with autonomy and solve problems independently
