Operator – Thermoforming Department (Milton Keynes)

The position is in the Thermoforming Department at the Milton Keynes site and will operate on a 2‑shift rotational pattern (7am‑3pm & 3pm‑11pm). This is a fixed‑term contract of approximately 6 months, full‑time, 7½ hours per day.

• Load each machine with the appropriate material.
• Operate the machine correctly and maintain required cycle speeds.
• Understand and follow all procedures, including manual and visual checks.
• Ensure goods leaving the department are labelled correctly and documentation attached.
• Approve break times with the Shift Manager and manage breaks flexibly.
• Be present at your machine at the start and end of each shift.
• Assist in training less experienced staff and offer guidance.
• Undertake additional training as required.
• Report defects or problems to the Shift Manager or Maintenance personnel.
• Wear the correct PPE at all times.
• Maintain hygiene and housekeeping standards (e.g., BRC).
• Report all accidents, incidents or near misses as per company procedure.
• Do not interfere with or damage company property.
• Provide cover on machines when required.
• Co‑operate with management and comply with all policies and procedures.
• Follow environmental and quality management procedures.
• Carry out reasonable duties requested by management.
