Job Description
Production Operative (Bar Saw) – We are currently looking for a Production Operative to join us here at thyssenkrupp Materials UK! As the Production Operative (Bar Saw), you will be cutting a range of rolling product for various customers working from design drawing, adhering to tight tolerances and ensuring our customers receive the most high quality material.
Shift Pattern- 40 hours a week
- Week 1: 6am-2pm
- Week 2: 2pm-10pm
- Operating the Bar Saw to a high quality and safe standard
- Ensuring we have warehouse traceability
- Working from drawings you will be required to accurately set various machines and produce parts to order
- Use forklifts to gather material for the jobs and record all information on job sheets
- Adhering to Health and Safety Policies and Procedures
- Experience working within a production environment
- Able to read drawings and record accurate details
- Flexibility to help with other tasks
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Training can be provided for the right applicant
- Forklift trained
