Responsibilities

You will be responsible for testing, inspecting, and documenting a wide range of sensors, electronic components, and assemblies required for operating Heritage F1 show cars. This includes supporting the maintenance and calibration of all test and inspection equipment, including specialist rigs, within the Test and Inspection department.

  • Test and inspect sensors, harnesses, and component assemblies on heritage cars, following current documentation and procedures.
  • Complete tasks efficiently according to priorities set by the Heritage Electronics Coordinator and report any build issues promptly.
  • Maintain and calibrate test and inspection equipment, ensuring it is fit for purpose and highlighting any issues to the appropriate team lead.
  • Generate fault reports for factory turnaround issues and ensure accurate Epicor and TLS transactions to maintain assembly integrity.
  • Adhere to company standards and actively participate in functional fitness programs.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience working in a similar role within Formula 1 electronics, including proficiency with MAT tools such as ATLAS and System Monitor.
  • Strong background in MIL-spec wiring installations, sensor technologies, and all types of electrical/electronic systems used in high-performance vehicles.
  • Ability to test and inspect sensors, harnesses, and component assemblies, generate accurate fault reports, and ensure calibration and integrity of test equipment.
  • Familiarity with Epicor and TLS systems for timely and accurate transaction processing, maintaining assembly integrity and compliance with company standards.
