Walnut Tree Health Centre is seeking an experienced Respiratory Nurse to join our friendly nursing team on a zero hours basis.
This role has become available as one of our valued nurses is leaving us at the end of the year to pursue a new adventure. We are therefore looking for a skilled and motivated clinician to support the delivery of long-term condition care.
The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking annual reviews for patients with Asthma and COPD, ensuring high-quality, patient-centred care in line with current clinical guidelines.
Working hours are flexible and can be tailored to suit the successful candidates availability. This may range from a couple of days per month up to one day per week or more, by mutual agreement.

About usWalnut Tree Health Centre is a very friendly, busy GP Surgery based in Walnut Tree, Milton Keynes and serves a population of approx. 15,000 patients with a mixed demographic. We are a training practice. We have a great relationship with our PCN and are committed to developing the services we can offer our patients. We value work life balance.
We are currently a team of 3 GP Partners and 3 salaried GPs. In addition to PCN roles we have our own very experienced multi-disciplinary team comprising:
- Paramedic
- Practice nursing team including chronic disease management, health screening and treatment room services
- A management and admin team providing comprehensive care and support
- Variety of trainees including F2, ST1/2&3 and student nurse
Undertake comprehensive long-term condition reviews for Asthma and COPD patients, ensuring compliance with QOF requirements and the delivery of excellent clinical care.
Person Specification Qualifications- Registered Practice Nurse with proven experience and relevant qualifications in delivering Asthma and COPD reviews in Primary Care.
