Comprehensive Clinical Responsibilities

As a Band 5 Registered General Nurse representing Evolve Staffing Ltd. within a major Cheshire NHS acute hospital, you will play a pivotal role in front-line care delivery across general medical, surgical, acute assessment, and elderly inpatient wards. Your primary nursing duties will include:

• Patient Care:
  Delivering industry-leading, evidence-based nursing care and holistic support to acutely ill patients, strictly adhering to Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) professional standards.
• Clinical Interventions:
  Safely administering medications, IV therapies, executing complex wound care management, monitoring vital signs, and performing routine physiological observations (NEWS2).
• Care Planning:
  Developing, implementing, and regularly evaluating individualized patient care plans in close collaboration with a wider Multidisciplinary Team (MDT), including doctors, social workers, and therapists.
• Regulatory Compliance:
  Maintaining meticulous and accurate electronic health records (EHR/EPR) to ensure absolute compliance with Care Quality Commission (CQC) guidelines and clinical governance protocols.
• Leadership & Mentoring:
  Providing clinical supervision, guidance, and delegation of duties to junior nursing staff, student nurses, and Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) to maintain a safe ward environment.
• Acute Escalation:
  Recognizing subtle signs of clinical deterioration promptly and initiating swift escalation pathways or emergency medical team responses.

Essential Requirements & Qualifications

• Valid NMC Pin:
  Fully qualified Adult Nurse (RGN) holding a current, active, and unrestricted registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) with no restrictions on practice.
