Pay: £13.62 per hour

Hours: 4 on, 4 off, nights: 7:30pm - 7:30am

Grade: 3.1 Site Based

As a Security Officer at Securitas, you’ll do more than protect what’s important—you’ll empower people to thrive. Your presence will make others feel safe, welcome, and supported. From patrolling key areas to overseeing gatehouse operations and serving as the trusted point of contact for clients, your role as a Security Officer makes you an integral part of something much bigger. You will work as part of a team to ensure the highest level of security for our client, safeguarding both premises and personnel.

You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes:

• Prevent and deter unauthorized access to site. Monitor fire alarms, intruder alarms and CCTV as appropriate
• Conduct external and internal security patrols as detailed in the Assignment Instructions
• Carry out routine tests of security equipment where appropriate
• Manage keys and perform locking and unlocking duties as detailed in the Assignment Instructions
• Maintain all logbooks and records as detailed in the Assignment Instructions
• Provide support, guidance and information to all staff, visitors and contractors whilst ensuring safeguarding of the premises
• Display an outstanding level of customer service

• A valid SIA licence
• Driving licence or good transport links
• Flexibility to work nights
• The right to work in the UK, with a 5-year checkable history.
• Have good computer skills
• Strong communication skills in English—both written and spoken.
