VAN Driver

Job Summary:

The Van Driver is responsible for safely operating a company van to transport goods, equipment, or passengers to designated locations. This role involves following assigned routes, maintaining delivery schedules, ensuring the vehicle is kept in good working condition, and providing excellent customer service when interacting with clients or team members.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate a company van safely and efficiently in accordance with all traffic laws and company policies.

Load and unload items, ensuring goods are handled with care and properly secured.

Follow planned routes and delivery schedules to meet deadlines.

Complete delivery paperwork, logs, or electronic tracking as required.

Communicate with dispatchers, supervisors, or customers to coordinate deliveries or address issues.

Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle before and after trips, reporting any maintenance needs.

Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.

Qualifications:

* Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

* Ability to lift and move packages or equipment as required by the job.

* Strong time-management and organizational skills.

* Good communication and customer service skills.

* Ability to follow directions, work independently, and adapt to changing schedules.

Working Conditions:

Loading/unloading in various weather conditions.

May require early mornings, evenings, weekends, or overtime depending on business needs
