Position Summary
Under the general direction of the Manager, Surveillance, this position is responsible for monitoring interior and exterior areas of a property by closed circuit television cameras and maintaining visual records. Ensures adherence to the Company's policies and procedures, motivates and leads by example and supports Great Canadian's learning environment while establishing a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members.
Key Accountabilities
Monitors, documents and reports violations, large cash/cash equivalents transactions, excluded and self-excluded guests and unauthorized accessMaintains logs and records; storing records for evidence purposesMonitoring, documenting, and reporting on conditions of surveillance facilities and equipmentCommunicates effectively with all appropriate operational departmentsBuilds strong working relationships with guests and team membersEnsures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulationsPerforms other duties as assigned or directedEducation and Qualifications
High School DiplomaPost secondary education in criminology or a suitable combination of education and experience an assetMinimum 3 years of work experience; experience in security or surveillance an assetResponsible Liquor Service Certification (. Serving it Right Certification)Computer proficiencyKeen eye for detail, with the ability to focus on monitors for long periods of timeAdherence to high standards, methods, and proceduresAbility to successfully obtain a Gaming LicenseWork Environment Considerations
