Agropur is looking for a Part-time Inventory and Shipping technician to join its Miramichi team.
The part-time Inventory and Shipping Technician acts as a key link between Customer Service, internal and external Distribution Centers, and carriers to ensure optimal distribution and transportation operations while meeting customer service standards. This role ensures that operational planning aligns with capacity and that fluidity supports performance indicators.

Salary range 002: $53,200 to $66 200 (Salary will be determined based on skills, education, training & experience related to the position.)
What’s involved in this role
More specifically, the Miramichi Inventory and Shipping Technician’s responsibilities will include:
Coordinate trailer moves with Shunters for inbound/outbound shipments and trailer service requirements.
Communicate with Shipper Receivers and Management to provide clear instructions on escalations, special instructions, and operational needs.
Inform transportation and customer service teams of operational delays when requested by the on-site supervisor.
Monitor and prioritize inbound receiving to minimize customer impact.
Allocate orders to Shipping Receivers for picking, loading, and staging.
Investigate and report shortages; escalate to on-site supervisor if required.
Confirm orders and prepare Bills of Lading and transportation paperwork for drivers.
Distribute and assign RF equipment to Shipper Receivers.
Manage WMS label system end-to-end: create, print, and distribute labels; monitor printer supplies and replace as needed.
Coordinate with pallet repair company for pallet load pickups.
Perform other duties as assigned.
What you need to join our team
College Diploma, University Degree or equivalent experience in logistics and distribution.
1-3 years’ experience in a similar role
Knowledge of SAP (an asset).
Computer literacy, ideally with MS Office (Word and Excel).
