We are Santo Catholic Mission, a media and technology integrated mission dedicated to promoting daily Catholic prayers and faith practices among Catholics worldwide. Our global Catholic Prayer Mission, established in Canada in 2020, is dedicated to uniting Catholics worldwide through daily prayer and devotional practices. We bridge cultural and linguistic barriers by making Catholic prayers accessible in multiple languages, helping the faithful deepen their relationship with God while preserving sacred traditions.

Your Role

As a Backend Developer (.NET Core) at our Cochin office, you will:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable APIs and microservices using .NET Core
• Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms
• Create and optimize database schemas and queries for SQL Server
• Integrate with third-party services and payment gateways
• Develop robust backend solutions to support our mobile and web applications
• Collaborate with frontend and mobile developers to ensure seamless integration
• Implement caching strategies and performance optimizations
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Participate in code reviews and architectural discussions
• Troubleshoot and resolve backend-related issues

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 2-4 years of experience in backend development with .NET Core
• Strong proficiency in C# and .NET Core framework
• Experience with RESTful API design and development
• Knowledge of SQL Server and Entity Framework
• Understanding of authentication and authorization protocols (OAuth, JWT)
• Experience with version control systems (Git)
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
• Knowledge of design patterns and software architecture principles
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Experience with Azure services is a plus
