General Statement Of Duties:
Performs duties as assigned by the Highway Superintendent. Performs routine construction, maintenance, and repair activities. Operates a variety of vehicles, heavy equipment, and power tools. Installs and maintains signs and other traffic control devices.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
As delegated by the Highway Superintendent.
- Has work experience with highway construction, heavy equipment or maintenance activities
- Physical ability to perform heavy manual labor
- Ability to follow written or verbal instructions
- A valid Commercial Drivers License is mandatory within 60 days of hiring.
- Must have a valid Drivers License
- Skill in the safe operation of complex motorized equipment
