Adecco is currently seeking a skilled General Accountant for a 4-month Contract role based in Mississauga, ON. The position offers a competitive salary of $33.76 per hour and requires expertise in monthly journal entries, account reconciliations, and process improvement projects.

Pay rate: $33.76/hour.

Location: Mississauga, ON

Shifts: Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm

Responsibilities:

Execute monthly journal entries according to the close schedule, incorporating both system processes and manual entries as required.

Prepare monthly account reconciliations and provide detailed GL account inquiry with commentary and variance analysis support.

Update process documentation and models in Excel for ongoing process improvement projects under the guidance of the Senior Manager of Accounting.

Collaborate cross-functionally with Accounts Payable, Cash Application, and Accounts Receivable teams to ensure accurate and timely data reporting and correspondence.

Requirements:

Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.

Experience in full-cycle accounting processes.

Proficiency in ERP systems, preferably JDE and Hyperion.

Detail-oriented with excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with the ability to work with large datasets.
