Territory Manager - Compact Construction Equipment

Brandt is currently seeking a Territory Manager - Compact Construction Equipment for our Mississauga Construction & Forestry location. The Brandt Mississauga branch covers all of Peel Region, York Region, and the City of Toronto, as well Uxbridge, Pickering, and Ajax.

The successful applicant will be responsible for the demonstration and sale of John Deere Compact Construction Equipment, including skid steers, compact wheel loaders, and mini excavators, as well as small Ditch Witch products, and small HAMM compaction equipment. In addition to machines sales, the successful applicant will be able to sell a wide variety of attachments, small utility trailers and equipment haulers.

This is an outside sales position where the successful candidate will be required go out into the field to meet with prospective and existing customers to help grow the business.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Sales of new and used construction equipment, attachments and trailers;
• Minimum of 7 personal calls per day in assigned territory;
• Maintaining and growing existing accounts;
• Prospecting for new accounts;
• Assisting with customer relations; and
• Assisting with account receivable collections.

• Knowledge of the equipment and construction industry is considered an asset

• Must possess and maintain a valid passport and be able to travel internationally
• Previous sales experience is required
• A recent driver’s abstract will be required
