Your role within the team :
Provide design solutions and assessments for new, updated, and modified process systems, structures, and components.Prepare and /or review design documents for Nuclear Power Plants, e.g., Design Calculation, Design Requirements, Assessments, Technical Specifications, Drawings, Bill of Materials, and System Code Classification.Perform thermohydraulic evaluations on complex systems.Prepare and/or review Engineering Quotation Request and Tender Technical Evaluations.Prepare and/or review Engineering packages.Perform walkdowns, attend site visits and meetings as required.Ensure applicable code, standards and regulatory requirements are met.Ensure adherence to company quality program.Ensure adherence to project delivery requirements and schedule.Support Engineering Management with timely updates on engineering progress.Interface with internal and external stake holders as required.Why choose

Registered as a Professional Engineer in Ontario.Engineering degree from an accredited University in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering or Engineering Science.A minimum of 7 years of experience in process-system design/analysis, preferably providing design solutions for CANDU nuclear power plants or BWR/PWR markets.Experience performing heat balance and thermohydraulic evaluations.Experience in process system design and layout.Knowledge of analytical tools used for mechanical and process design (e.g., ANSYS, Mathcad, Flomaster, NUCIRC, CATHENA or similar).Working knowledge of/experience with the CSA B51 standard, ASME Section III, ASME B31.1 codes.Working knowledge of/experience using nuclear Codes and Standards or regulatory guides, including CSA N285.0 is an asset.Must have excellent communication and technical writing skills.Demonstrate good interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment.Site experience in construction, or commissioning of plant mechanical systems for nuclear or other heavy industries is an asset.Experience performing work to nuclear power plants procedures and practices and qualifications for nuclear power plants engineering activities is an asset.Eligible for Security Clearance through Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC).Are you up for this challenge?
