Job Description
AECOM is seeking a Integration Architect - Airport to join our team.
This position is based on-site, out of Mississauga.
We are seeking professionals to join our team to help us build one of the most advanced, sustainable and passenger-friendly airports in the world.
Major Responsibilities:
Provide evaluation and recommendation of tools, platforms, and standards (e.g., APIs, middleware, messaging systems) best suited for airport integration needs.
Review and assess current Airport clients integration practice, assess LIFT integration needs and make recommendation for future proof Integration Stack Architecture evolution from asis to “to be”
Help Airport client define roadmap and executable project to design, procure and implement next Gen Integration Stack
Define and design integration architectures and frameworks that connect different applications (on-premises, cloud, legacy systems) - Ensure that data flows smoothly between systems while maintaining consistency, accuracy, and performance.
Implement secure data exchange practices and ensure compliance with regulations and corporate policies.
Review and validation of integration solution designs, drawings, specifications, and submittals for technical accuracy, scalability, and compliance.
- Bridging the gap between disparate systems, ensuring they communicate effectively to support business operations and digital strategy.
Leading technical workshops, design reviews, and peer reviews with stakeholders, consultants, and integrators.
Creation of new and or modifications to existing IT standards, specifications, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) as required
Creation of concept designs, detailed designs, scopes of work, and associated technical drawings
Support procurement and vendor evaluation by reviewing technical submittals and product compliance
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
In order to be considered for this position, candidates must possess, at a very minimum:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, and or Software Engineering Electrical or Electronic Engineering (with IT focus)
8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
Docker Certifications
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or SAFe Agilist (for Agile integration projects)
Security and Compliance (especially important in aviation/airport projects)
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer or Auditor
CompTIA Security+field
