Reporting to the Operations Manager, CCTV Sewer Operators are responsible for the safe operation of CCTV equipment and trucks, supporting projects as part of the Subsurface Utility Engineering group with multi

VIEW Locates Inc.

• Safely operate vehicles in accordance with CVOR, MTO and other provincial requirements.
• Complete NASSCO pipeline inspections; operate CCTV equipment daily, inspecting and coding defects in sewer infrastructure.
• Complete data analysis and reports daily.
• Set up, manage and remove temporary road occupancy equipment according in strict adherence to regulations.
• Perform daily inventory and inspection of CCTV equipment, reels, wheel sets, camera heads, tools and safety gear to ensure quality assurance.
• Read project sheets and perform project safety site inspections.
• Read, interpret and augment maps with notes.
• Travel to other cities/areas, work in a variety of settings and worksite conditions.
• Work evenings, weekends or out-of-town on occasion.
• Other duties as required

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a CCTV Operator – PACP certified.
• Previous Confined Space training and experience.
• Strong practical, technical skills.
• DZ license an asset.
• Self-organizing and able to multi-task.
• Experience dealing directly with customers.
• Strong communication and team skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Able to work on job sites outside for long periods.
• First Aid and Confined Space Training an asset
