Paint Sales Associates help Home Depot customers find project solutions through product knowledge, friendly service, and effective communication.
Sales Associates assess customer needs, explain product features, and recommend related items for complete projects. The role emphasizes customer focus, interpersonal skills, and learning products across the department and adjacent areas. Associates also promote available services and maintain merchandise presentation.
Key Responsibilities:- Greet, engage, and thank customers using the GET Model
- Assess projects and escort customers to appropriate merchandise
- Recommend products, related items, and available services
- Educate customers about complete project solutions
- Maintain signed, displayed, and clean products
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Effective communication and strong customer focus
- Interpersonal skills for customer assistance
- Retail or Trade experience of one to two years asset
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and move items
Use customer service, product knowledge, and communication skills to support successful paint projects at Home Depot.
