Help customers solve plumbing and electrical projects at The Home Depot Canada through product knowledge and friendly service.
Sales Associates assess customer needs, explain product features, and recommend complete project solutions. You will support customers in your department and adjacent departments while building knowledge of products, services, and related items. The position emphasizes customer focus, effective communication, and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Greet, engage, and thank customers using the GET Model
- Ask open-ended questions to understand project needs
- Recommend products, services, and related project items
- Maintain signed, displayed, and clean department merchandise
- Follow safety and Loss Prevention procedures
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Retail or trade experience is an asset
- Strong customer focus and effective communication
- Interpersonal skills for customer assistance
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and move items
