Senior Engineer

The Senior Engineer will lead and coordinate civil engineering activities for the Carbon Capture Scheme project, ensuring compliance with design, safety, and quality standards. Holding a Temporary Works Co‑ordinator (TWC) ticket, this role will have responsibility for managing all temporary works on site in accordance with BS 5975 and company procedures.

• Manage and oversee civil and structural works, including reinforced concrete, foundations, and associated infrastructure.
• Ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and to specification.

• Act as the single point of contact for all temporary works on site.
• Implement and maintain the Temporary Works Procedure, including design briefs, registers, and permits to load/strike.
• Coordinate with designers and subcontractors to ensure compliance with approved designs and specifications.
• Inspect and sign off temporary works installations, modifications, and dismantling.

• Mentor junior engineers and supervise site teams.
• Ensure compliance with CDM Regulations and company HSE standards.
• Liaise with stakeholders to resolve technical queries and sequencing constraints.

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Current Temporary Works co‑ordinator (TWC) training.
• Proven experience in temporary works co‑ordination on civil infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of BS 5975 and temporary works best practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.

This role will be based at our Mold Office (Flintshire) to cover office opening hours between 7 am and 5 pm.
