Electrical Maintenance Technician
Location:
South Wales
Salary: £41,000 rising to £45,000 + Shift Allowance + Premium Overtime + Bonuses
Hours:
Monday to Friday – 3-Shift Pattern (Earlies / Afternoons / Nights)
Contract:
Full Time, Permanent

We’re now seeking two Electrical Maintenance Technicians to join the team as the business continues to expand.

The Role
As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you’ll play a key role in ensuring equipment reliability and uptime across fast-paced production lines.
Key responsibilities include:
* Reactive Maintenance:
Respond quickly to breakdowns and diagnose electrical faults.
* Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM):
Carry out scheduled maintenance to maximise equipment reliability.
* Equipment Support:
Assist with installation, modification, and improvement of electrical systems.
* Continuous Improvement:
Work collaboratively with production teams to enhance safety, efficiency, and performance.
* Team
Collaboration:
Support, train, and coach operators to reduce downtime.
The Person
We’re open to candidates with a range of experience — whether you’re already an established Maintenance Technician or an ambitious engineer ready to take the next step.
Essential:
* NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in a Electrical Engineering discipline
* Hands-on electrical experience with fault finding and maintenance
* Background in a production or manufacturing environment
* Proactive, hands-on approach with strong problem-solving skills
Desirable:
* FMCG or high-speed manufacturing experience
* Exposure to mechanical systems
