POSITION DUTIESThis position plans, develops, and organizes the health information system in an institution with up to 80 residential students and 100 partial day and outpatient students. This position assists with the development of medical charts, maintains student data, and organizes the Medical Records office to facilitate the availability of information when needed for the treatment of youth and their families.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSEducation:
Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.
Experience:
One year of experience compiling and maintaining health records.
Notes:
- Experience working with HMIS (Health Management Information Systems)
- Experience working with Electronic Records Management
Candidates for this classification must demonstrate the ability to type at a minimum speed of 20 words per minute.
