- Be responsible for all procurement related activities for specific commodities of the various product development phases.
- Act as a project manager to ensure all procurement related activities are executed as per plan.
- Represent Procurement with the various integrated product development team.
- Track changes through the management process up to the point of implementation.
- Be responsible for contractual negotiations, resulting from product ranges, with external suppliers.
- Ensure that correct project tracking and visibility are provided by suppliers for Procurement and other business unit functions.
- Support, where applicable, the Procurement commodity team in establishing sourcing strategies for the development programs and draft commercial agreements with the suppliers.
- Provide coaching/mentoring to the agents of the team.
- You hold a Bachelor's degree in Business or equivalent.
- You have five (8) to twelve (12) years of experience in the aerospace industry.
- You possess experience in contract negotiations with suppliers.
- You have experience on development programs (an asset).
- You possess technical knowledge (an asset).
- You have strong analytical skills.
- You possess strong communication skills (French and English).
