Location: MontrealJob Description:Requirement/Must Have:
Technical training or education in quality, mechanical, or electrical engineering.Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO
9001) and Supplier Quality Management.Strong understanding of manufacturing processes.Ability to interpret engineering drawings (GD&T).Experience collaborating with design engineering teams.Proven ability to manage multiple investigations simultaneously.Strong ownership mindset and self-motivation.Ability to manage Product and Process Qualifications and supplier quality issues end-to-end.Knowledge of inspection methodologies and capability assessment.Experience:Experience with manufacturing process issues and supplier management.Experience leading root cause investigations and corrective actions.Experience auditing suppliers for capability and quality systems.Responsibilities:Lead Product and Process Qualifications (PPQs) at suppliers.Contain, manage, and resolve quality issues related to supplier non-conforming components globally.Ensure proper handling of non-conformance issues by suppliers.Support and lead continuous process improvements.Drive supplier root cause analysis and corrective actions.Investigate and resolve supply chain manufacturing capability issues.Identify and support cost-reduction initiatives.Audit existing and new suppliers for capability and quality readiness.Develop supplier capability to meet current and future needs.Collaborate with customer-facing teams to investigate potential product non-conformances.Should Have:Experience working with critical parts.Proven application of quality improvement tools (8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa).Skills:Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Excellent communication and project management abilities.Ability to work across cross-functional teams.Qualification and
Education:
Technical training or formal education in quality, mechanical, or electrical engineering.Familiarity with SAP (preferred).
